About Us

We restore old iron fences. That is all we do.

our story

Our story

It started with one fence and one customer who had been told to replace it.

Josh, who owns Wrought Iron Rescue, grew up in Rockwall County and graduated from Rockwall High School. Over seven years ago a lady called about a rusted iron fence. Every company she had spoken to told her the same thing — tear it out and put a new one in. He looked at it and could see the metal was sound underneath. It was repaired instead, and it saved her a great deal of money.

That was the whole idea. Most of the iron fences people are told to replace do not need replacing. At the time almost nobody in North Texas was doing restoration properly, so we built our own process, mastered it, and have been refining it on real fences ever since. Seven years on, it is not something we dabble in — it is the trade.

We are not another fence company that fits iron repair in between wood fences and new installs. This is what we do day in and day out — restoring old iron fences and making them look new again. We do custom wrought iron fabrication too, so where a section is genuinely beyond saving we make one to match rather than substituting something off a shelf.

Our vision

A fence is not decoration. A gate that latches keeps a four-year-old in the yard and a dog off the road. A post that holds means the fence is still standing after the next storm. Rust cut out today is not a section that fails later.

That is why every gate works properly before we leave, and why we walk the fence with you before the crew packs up. Our vision is simple: no family in North Texas gets told to replace ironwork that could have been repaired, and every fence we leave behind is safe, solid and looks like it belongs to the house.

What we stand by

Safety first

Every gate works properly before we leave — it latches, it swings true and it holds. A gate that does not close is a gate a small child can walk through.

Repair before replacement

We tell you honestly what your fence needs and what it does not. If it can be saved, we save it, and it costs a fraction of a tear-out.

Hand-finished, never sprayed

Oil-based paint with a rust inhibitor, brushed on by hand into the joints and weld seams where rust starts. It takes longer and it lasts longer.

Local and accountable

We are from here and we are not going anywhere. Our welds are guaranteed and every completed job includes one free touch-up within the first year.
